2. Creating a User Name
When creating a user name, consider using your name or combination of your name plus initials and numbers, your business name or other professional alias. Do not use your email address or Web site address or a name that could appear to other users as that of a Professional Networking site official, such as "Verizon" or "Moderator." Do not create a user name that violates the Terms of Use, Acceptable Use or Comment Policy. All user names are reviewed by a Professional Networking Moderator, and we reserve the right to remove any user name that does not comply with our policies.
3. Creating Business and Professional Profiles
When creating a Professional Profile, you are required to enter your first and last name as well as your role in your organization. Optionally, you may want to include your business contact information and your professional associations, certifications, areas of expertise and more. When creating a Business Profile, you are required to enter your business name, select your industry and state, staff size range, years in business. Optionally, you may want to include the services/products your business provides, customers and areas served, languages spoken, business contact information and more. The more information you include in your profile, the easier it will be for others to find you. You can adjust your privacy settings to control who can view your profiles. Do not create entries that violate the Terms of Use, Acceptable Use or Comment Policy. All Profiles are reviewed by a Professional Networking Moderator, and we reserve the right to remove Profiles that do not comply with our policies.
4. Comment Policy
We encourage your comments and look forward to hearing from you. We request that you stay on topic, be courteous and productive, and avoid comments that are off topic, obscene, offensive, sexually explicit, inappropriate, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable.
Verizon reserves the right to reject or remove comments for any reason, including but not limited to our belief that the comments violate this Comment Policy, or our Terms of Use or Acceptable Use Policy. All decisions on content posting, rejection and removal are entirely at the discretion of Verizon, and Verizon has no obligation to remove content. Any failure to remove content that violates this Comment Policy shall not be considered a waiver of Verizon’s rights under the policy.
We reserve the right to ban future posts from commenters who violate our Comment Policy, Terms of Use or Acceptable Use Policy.
